MetLife Stadium hosts the 2026 World Cup Final on 19 July — the championship match of the first 48-team tournament. Opened in 2010 in the New Jersey Meadowlands, it is the rare ground shared by two NFL teams.

For one summer the home of American football becomes a global cathedral: the last team standing will lift the trophy here, in front of the New York skyline.
